Techoundsllc is seeking a proactive Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations within a food manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate brings IFRS/GAAP expertise, SOX familiarity, and hands-on experience with Sage, QuickBooks or Xero, plus strong analytical and leadership abilities. This role offers collaboration in a team focused on sustainable growth and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate, public, or governmental accounting.
• Strong IFRS, GAAP, and SOX knowledge.
• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting.
• Hands-on with Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero.
• Familiarity with non-profit/regulatory reporting.
• Excellent reconciliation and GL management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and data analysis.
• Manage month-end and year-end close and GL processes.
• Oversee AP/AR functions and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Ensure SOX controls and regulatory standards are met.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Lead technical accounting on complex transactions.
• Generate detailed financial reports for strategic decisions.
• Implement accounting software to streamline operations.
