Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations in a fast‑growing food manufacturing environment. This role combines hands‑on accounting with strategic leadership to build scalable financial processes and reporting for continued growth.

You will partner with leadership on financial planning, cash flow management, profitability, and business decisions, while building a high‑performing accounting team and improving internal controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, at Controller or Accounting Manager level.
• Experience in food manufacturing/CPG/inventory‑intensive environments preferred.
• Experience closing monthly/yearly books and producing financial statements.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite/Sage Intacct/QuickBooks/Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and cash management.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Develop financial reporting and KPIs for leadership (revenue, gross margin, inventory, working capital).
• Lead cost accounting and inventory accounting for manufacturing operations.
