Job summary

Responsibilities include overseeing AP, AR, payroll, journal entries, and audits, while driving process improvements and ERP initiatives. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience, with strong MS Office skills and GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment including financial statement preparation and tax preparation or familiarity with tax laws.
• Strong understanding and/or experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring day-to-day accounting practices for Krier Foods.
• Oversee accounts payable, purchase orders, employee expense reports, and cash control to ensure timely processing.
• Oversee accounts receivable aging, billings, and cash receipts; prepare and reconcile monthly statements.
