Job summary

Peoplify in Carson City, Nevada is seeking a hands-on, operationally focused Controller to lead all financial operations for a fast-growing emergency response and environmental services provider.

You will manage month-end close, job cost accounting, cash flow, budgeting, and compliance, partnering with executive leadership to optimize margins and field operations finance in a 24/7, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior financial management in a relevant field.
• Experience with job cost accounting and multi-entity structures.
• CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with GAAP-compliant statements.
• Oversee project-level accounting, labor/equipment tracking, and rapid billing.
• Lead cash flow management, receivables, vendor payments, and capex planning.
• Build annual budgets, project margin analyses, and rolling cash forecasts.
• Ensure Nevada tax compliance, insurance reporting, and internal controls.
• Oversee payroll, fleet accounting, and asset depreciation tracking.
• Refine field-to-office financial workflows and ERP tooling.
