Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to join the Strategic C3 Business Unit in Melbourne, FL. This on-site role supports financial reporting, forecasting, and profitability analysis in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a finance/ Accounting background with strong analytical skills and experience with SAP/ IBM Cognos, and proficiency in MS Office. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's with related field experience in finance/business administration
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access
• Experience with financial analysis of traditional financial metrics (Awards, Acquisitions, Sales, Operating Margin, ROS%, Cash)
• Experience with SAP and IBM Cognos software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Supports Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reporting and Planning processes including forecasting, sensitivity collection, reporting and analysis and working capital analysis
• Supports the preparation of the Financial EAC/profitability reporting process with partnership with program management and cost management teams
• Supports development of consolidated program Long Range Strategic Plans (LRSP) and Annual Operating Plans
• Works with business management teams to improve financial performance based on metrics and management reporting requirements
• Supports development of presentations for and briefings to leadership levels
• Supports ad hoc requests from leadership
• Supports Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation
• Other tasks across the financial portfolio as needed
