Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Strategic Planner to join the Strategy team as a Strategy Analyst. Based in El Segundo, Falls Church, VA or Melbourne, FL, the role focuses on evaluating investments, partnerships, and portfolio strategies to create long-term value.

The position requires strong analytical skills, experience in financial analysis, and the ability to communicate with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 5 years of experience in business, finance, engineering, or related discipline; OR Master with 3 years; OR PhD with 1 year.
• Proven ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize business and financial insights from multiple sources.
• Experience in financial analysis, strategy development, and/or project management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior levels of management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology scouting initiatives and manage sector tech scouting & startup engagements.
• Source, analyze, and execute strategic investments and minority equity investments.
• Support development and execution of strategic partnerships and portfolio strategies.
• Respond to ad hoc analysis and executive-sponsored special projects.
