Job summary

ABB in Mebane, NC seeks a Business Financial Analyst to provide financial expertise for the Electrification Distribution Solutions plant. You will compile and analyze metrics, identify trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders. You will also recommend actions to improve financial performance for the business unit.

This on-site role collaborates with the Finance manager and operation value chain, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business, or relevant STEM field required.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing industry with a strong preference for electrical manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SAP modules FI, CO, MM, PS for manufacturing.
• Strong documentation skills with ability to create clear process flows, training materials, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and propose improvement actions.
• Benchmark KPI performance with industry peers and analyze drivers of financial performance.
• Prepare financial modeling for hypotheses and overall impact to the business unit.
• Support financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
