Job summary

ABB is seeking a Finance Analyst to provide financial expertise for the assigned organization, compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.

You will perform budget vs forecast analyses, collaborate with finance professionals, maintain audit trails, and support payroll reconciliation and reporting, while complying with ISO/HSE/HR policies.

Qualifications

• BA in business administration (Finance, Accounting preferred).
• Experience in financial analysis.
• Budgeting and forecasting frameworks.
• SAP or other ERP systems experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comply with established standards, practices, and regulations from Quality (including ISO 9001); HSE (including ISO 14001); and HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and accordingly proposes improvement actions.
• Works with other finance professionals to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance of the organization and identify trends.
• Maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/internal/external audits and reviews.
• Reduce the amount of GR&I and blocked invoices and identify common issues.
• Work with suppliers and internal customers to ensure timely payments, with OCM being the specific priority.
• Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and verify that payroll is fully posted to the ledger.
• Estimate payroll using functional areas and verify that benefit accruals are being correctly recorded in payroll.
• Other requested activities that include but are not limited to Reporting, Payroll analysis, AI automation
