Job summary

ABB, a global leader in industrial technologies, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor based onsite in Mebane, NC. You will lead maintenance activities, optimize equipment reliability, and manage budgets while collaborating with engineering to improve production line performance.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in manufacturing, strong engineering knowledge, and hands-on skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems. Legal US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance personnel and assist with troubleshooting.
Advanced technical skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automated systems.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical/post-secondary training preferred.
Legal authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements equipment life cycle management procedures for reliability and cost.
Coordinates with the team to solve major technical or facilities problems for higher production line performance.
Carries out maintenance tasks as required.
Defines maintenance plans for new production lines and improves reliability, maintenance and safety.
Coordinates planned and scheduled maintenance of factory equipment.
Develops improvement projects for processes and production lines to reduce maintenance costs.
Proposes and manages the annual maintenance budget.
Monitors costs and effectiveness to optimize resources.
