Job summary

The Fedcap Group is seeking a Financial Analyst based in the NY Metro region. You will perform variance analyses and ensure data accuracy in management reports, while developing key drivers to inform leadership decisions.

The role requires strong business acumen, excellent communication, and the ability to roll up your sleeves to improve the management reporting process and deliver timely results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
• 3-5 years of Financial Analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting models, budgets, and management reporting.
• Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint including Macros and Pivot tables.
• Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion / EPM; Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasts, budgets, budget templates, reports, and variance analyses.
• Develop an excellent understanding of business functions and provide financial insights.
• Partner with directors, managers, and stakeholders on budgeting, analysis, and forecasting.
• Develop and manage funder budgets translating program plans into detailed financial projections.
• Analyze Salesforce data to produce insights and track pipeline performance.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analyses for practice areas, contracts, and lines of business.
• Identify process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Explain financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Utilize advanced Excel daily (Index/Match, Xlookup, PivotTables, Macros).
