Job summary

A Global Bank is seeking an experienced FP&A Associate to join its finance organization in New York. The role emphasizes preparing recurring financial reports for senior management, highlighting business performance, and tracking key trends.

You will analyze revenue, expenses, and operating metrics to support budgeting and forecasts, while ensuring data accuracy across teams. The position requires a strong command of Excel, presentation skills, and experience with financial reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
• 3+ years of FP&A, planning, or management reporting within financial services.
• Experience with large data sets, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Strong Excel and presentation skills; experience with financial reporting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting performance and key trends.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, and operating metrics to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decisions.
• Compare actual results with budgets and forecasts, investigate variances, and explain key drivers.
• Partner with Finance and business teams to maintain accurate data and consistent reporting.
• Support expense allocations, reconciliations, and cross-functional planning projects.
• Improve reporting processes and identify opportunities to automate routine analysis.
