Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in financial project management in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana).
• Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills; ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience with risk management, budgeting, and reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management of finance-focused initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, financial systems implementation, and cost optimization efforts.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, budgets, and KPIs.
• Analyze project financials to ensure alignment with business goals and financial targets.
• Prepare and deliver financial project updates, reports, dashboards and overall program health to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, IT, and business units to gather requirements and coordinate execution.
• Identify risks and opportunities while proactively managing project issues and scope changes.
• Lead teams to create financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards throughout project execution.
• Align program objectives with organizational strategy and drive measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across sales, IT, operations, finance, and leadership teams.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and dependencies early.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and transparency across teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, delivering clear and concise updates.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
