Job summary

ICON Technology Group is seeking a dedicated finance partner to lead FP&A for its construction businesses, including government and defense work. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with intimate P&L oversight across go-to-market, delivery, and operations.

You’ll report to the VP of Finance and act as an embedded, autonomous contributor. You’ll drive revenue forecasts, project profitability, and capacity planning while establishing cadence and actionable insights for

Qualifications

• 7–10 years FP&A or strategic finance experience.
• Proven business partner to senior leaders with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations.
• Experience supporting a full P&L, including revenue, delivery costs, and operating expenses.
• Strong driver-based modeling skills (COGS, gross margin, project profitability, headcount planning).

Responsibilities

• Own the annual budget, long-range plan, and financial models.
• Run monthly operating cadence with forecast updates and variance reviews.
• Own revenue forecast end-to-end from pipeline to bookings and revenue.
• Forecast and track project-level profitability and gross margin.
• Build capacity and operations forecasts aligning staffing with revenue targets.
• Define and track operating metrics such as utilization and unit costs.
• Advise leadership on operating and investment decisions via scenario analysis.
