Job summary

Fivetran, a data integration leader, is seeking a Product Finance professional to own the operating expense P&L for Product and Customer Support, managing headcount, vendor spend, and quarterly reforecasts. The role involves building cost-to-serve models and communicating ROI for product investments.

You will work closely with Product, Support, and Engineering, providing the business case for roadmap decisions and partnering with senior leadership on finance strategy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, product finance, investment banking, or consulting.
• Experience owning an operating expense budget or partnering with non-finance teams on spend.
• Strong modeling skills across driver-based revenue forecasts and OPEX/headcount models.
• Knowledge of software/subscription economics (ARR, NRR, ARPA, gross margin).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the finance business partner to Product and Customer Support leadership — own their budgets and flag risks and trade-offs.
• Own the annual operating plan for both organizations including headcount, vendor spend, and quarterly reforecasts.
• Own monthly close, accruals, and variance analysis with driver explanations and forward-looking implications.
• Build the portfolio view of product investment and unit economics for roadmap funding.
• Develop cost-to-serve analytics for support cost by account and segment.
• Co-own the Product Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reviews with product leadership.
• Improve data models and apply AI to recurring analysis.
