Job summary

Anaconda, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team.

You will manage the P&L for Product & Engineering, translating complex engineering spend into clear financial frameworks and building models to guide investments in platform capabilities and infrastructure. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver monthly/quarterly expense analyses, lead planning cycles, and apply AI tools to accelerate forecasting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive finance experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or finance business partnering
• Experience supporting Product & Engineering or similar technical functions in a SaaS/DevOps/tech company
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and translate complexity into actionable insights
• Balance of strategic and hands-on capabilities in systems and processes
• Strong financial modeling, variance analysis, and executive-ready storytelling

Responsibilities

• Partner with P&E leadership to manage the department P&L and inform investments
• Build financial models and business cases for platform capabilities, DevOps tooling, and infrastructure
• Interpret cost dashboards and translate spending patterns into business context for execs
• Deliver monthly and quarterly expense analysis and drive corrective actions
• Lead annual planning and quarterly forecasting for P&E with cross-functional input
• Apply AI tools to accelerate scenario modeling and variance analysis
• Design and maintain reporting frameworks for cost drivers and burn rates
• Support headcount planning in collaboration with People and P&E leaders
• Provide financial guidance on build-vs-buy, vendor negotiations, and capacity planning
