Job summary

Notion is seeking a Strategic Finance Business Partner to support our AI team and other functions. You’ll partner with Engineering and Product to quantify financial performance, forecast accurately, and guide decisions with strategic analyses.

Based in San Francisco, you’ll embed with the AI team, own weekly/monthly cost reporting, support the close, and collaborate with senior leadership to build trusted budgets and plans for the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, and/or Corporate Finance.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting (budget vs. actuals).
• Data fluency and the ability to navigate complex datasets, including identifying anomalies.
• Intellectual curiosity, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to translate data into performance insights.
• Comfortable partnering directly with senior leadership and building cross-functional relationships.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Embed deeply within the AI team and broader business as a trusted financial partner.
• Own weekly and monthly AI cost reporting end to end with clear visibility for executives.
• Deliver analyses to support strategic decisions with sound judgment and speed.
• Support the monthly close and reporting process with accounting oversight and cost analyses.
• Partner with AI, Product, Data Science, Engineering and other teams to deliver accurate forecasts and budgets.
• Improve data gaps and reporting infrastructure using AI to make workflows more durable.
