Job summary

HP seeks a Principal, Strategic Finance & Operations to drive alignment, planning, and performance management for its Digital Services business. You will consolidate financial and operational data, govern quarterly reviews, and develop ROI analyses to guide strategic investments and resource allocation.

You will partner with FP&A, Category Finance, and business units to deliver executive‑level narratives and standardized planning processes across a fast‑moving, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years of experience in finance, strategy, or business operations within a technology, services, or SaaS‑driven organization.
• Demonstrated experience managing executive‑level deliverables, business planning cycles, or governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to distill complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation of business performance across Digital Services integrating financial and operational inputs into cohesive executive‑ready deliverables.
• Manage the governance cadence for Quarterly Business Reviews (QSR), Story Behind the Numbers (SBTN), and Investment Reviews — overseeing content development, scheduling, and follow‑up of key actions.
• Develop and maintain forecast summaries, risk assessments, and ROI analyses to inform strategic investment and resource allocation decisions.
• Partner with business and finance leaders to align and track strategic initiatives, linking operational metrics to financial performance and value‑creation outcomes.
• Coordinate strategy and business planning cycles, ensuring consistency of assumptions, frameworks, and KPIs across supported businesses.
• Prepare strategy and executive review decks for L1/L2 forums, translating complex financial data into clear and actionable narratives.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning, reporting, and review processes, including standardization of templates, metrics, and governance practices.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with FP&A, Category Finance, CO Markets, and Business Units to deliver accurate, timely, and aligned outputs.
