Job summary

Takt is seeking a Finance & Business Operations Lead to own the financial operations, FP&A, and revenue analytics. Located in Reston, VA, you will manage invoicing, cash, budgeting, and Board reporting while partnering with leadership to scale the business.

You will start as a solo role with potential to grow into the broader Finance and Operations function, collaborating across teams to improve processes and controls.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in finance, FP&A, or related roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.
• Hands-on experience with invoicing, AP/AR, expenses, and reporting.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Experience presenting to leadership and boards.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day financial operations (AP/AR, invoicing, expenses).
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and rolling operating plan.
• Maintain cash visibility and manage banking relationships.
• Coordinate monthly close and provide reliable financial reporting.
• Prepare materials for Leadership Team and Board meetings.
