Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort seeks a Finance Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The role partners with resort leadership to steer capital investments and performance reporting, driving disciplined financial management and informed decision-making.

With a focus on forward-looking planning and ROI analyses, the position requires collaboration with department heads, strong Excel modeling, and experience in hospitality finances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
• Experience leading annual budgeting and forecasting in a multi-department environment.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, capital planning, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP/BI tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating and capital budgeting with department leaders.
• Manage monthly forecasting and analyze financial performance.
• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses to aid decisions.
• Evaluate strategic initiatives and ROI of capital projects.
• Develop and enhance financial reporting tools and processes.
