Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Finance Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for a high-profile client in financial services. You will partner with senior leadership, deliver insights, and drive improvements across forecasting, reporting, and governance as part of the Financial Strategy & Operations function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; if not, equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive finance/FP&A experience with team leadership.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and coach high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical skills across large data sets to drive decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and planning.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and impact on business outcomes.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting.
• Provide financial insights to influence decision-making and strategic objectives.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses, reports, forecasts, and packages for leaders and clients.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements driving performance and efficiency.
• Develop and coach a finance team to enable engagement and results.
• Oversee daily operations, set priorities, delegate tasks, and ensure timely deliverables.
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, cash flow, and schedules for accuracy and compliance.
• Review and approve monthly journal entries and accounting transactions.
• Support development and maintenance of financial policies and governance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and reporting.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and propose practical solutions.
