Job summary

RTX seeks an experienced financial manager for the Air & Space Defense Systems Office in Tucson. You will provide oversight of program cost controls, budgeting, and financial planning while coordinating with program managers and engineering teams.

You will guide finance strategies, ensure EAC compliance, and mentor staff to deliver reliable financial performance for high-visibility DoD contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and typically 8+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in program controls.
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP, APEX, AO, or similar processes.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis concepts, systems, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial oversight and support for program cost and control, proposals and estimating, financial planning and analysis, and budgets and planning.
• Collaborate with program managers, contracts, engineering, supply chain, and other teams to align with strategic, operational, and financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with required Estimates at Complete (EACs).
• Utilize financial systems such as SAP, APEX, and AO or similar processes to manage program financials effectively.
• Collect, analyze, and distribute information to support decision-making from various perspectives.
• Lead and mentor team members to achieve program and financial success.
• Support the development and execution of financial strategies to meet program objectives.
• Communicate financial performance and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
