Job summary

Eight Sleep seeks a Strategic Finance Manager to own financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner with leadership to shape strategy and identify growth opportunities, owning dynamic financial modeling and ROI analyses.

Location: SF. You will present insights to senior leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and value creation within a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in FP&A or corporate finance; MBA a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
• Deep understanding of financial statements, forecasting methods, and hardware/SaaS business models.
• Excellent communication skills with senior leadership; strong stakeholder management.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret the numbers and explain the story behind them.
• Knowledge of the three financial statements and accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis.
• Build and maintain dynamic financial models for planning and investment cases.
• Partner with functional leads to define KPIs and metrics driving performance.
• Develop ROI analyses for new product features and marketing initiatives.
• Create financial presentations and board materials for leadership.
• Lead monthly operating reviews and provide performance commentary.
• Support ad hoc analyses and strategic projects as needed.
