Job summary

Eight Sleep, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead all accounting operations including revenue recognition, AP, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and cash management.

The role drives AI workflows, automation, internal controls, and SOX-ready processes while partnering with FP&A, Sales, and broader Finance to deliver insights and scalable results. A CPA with Big 4 or large regional firm background is required.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• Public accounting firm experience (Big 4 or large regional); audit background preferred.
• Industry accounting experience in a corporate setting.
• At least 5-7 years of progressive accounting and managerial experience.
• Experience building and utilizing AI workflows and automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Data mindset; high-intensity work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle accounting operations and month-end close.
• Oversee revenue recognition, AP, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, cash management.
• Improve AI workflows and automate manual tasks within ERP and related tools.
• Develop scalable internal controls and SOX-ready framework.
• Coordinate with FP&A, Sales, and Finance for insights and budgets.
• Support audits, tax compliance, and external auditors.
