Job summary

Saab, Inc. in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Business Finance organization.

The role will report to the Land Systems Controller and provide financial support for assigned contracts, with reporting and analysis responsibilities, and is located onsite in Orlando. Responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, EVM, and collaboration with Program Managers to drive financial performance, while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS/CAS and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with 16+ years of progressive experience (or a Master’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Proficient with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts, systems, and reporting.
• Proficient with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other general accounting rules and principles.
• Strong focus on analyzing and understanding financial data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial commitments and provide insights for leadership.
• Lead quarterly forecasting cycles and support budgeting and long-range planning.
• Partner with Program Managers to manage program financial performance with reporting packages and dashboards.
• Support preparation of EACs and Earned Value Management reporting.
• Assist with bidding, pricing exercises and business case development.
• Assist Manufacturing and Supply Chain in tracking and forecasting material costs.
• Maintain strong financial controls and documentation.
• Assist Accounting, Contracts, and Subcontracts with FAR, DFARS, and CAS compliance.
• Act as external audit interface for programs selected for review.
