Saab, Inc. seeks a Finance Manager to join the Business Finance organization in Orlando, FL. The role reports to the Land Systems Controller and provides financial support for contracts, reporting, and analysis on-site.

Responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, EACs, EVM, and partnering with program managers to drive variance analysis. Strong Excel, accounting knowledge, and collaboration across global teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 16+ years progressive experience or Master's with 14+ years in Financial Management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
• Proficient with EVM concepts, systems, and reporting.
• Proficient with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and related accounting principles.
• Strong ability to analyze financial data and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress toward financial commitments and provide timely financial insights for programs and leadership.
• Lead quarterly forecasting cycles and support annual budgeting and long-range planning.
• Partner with Program Managers to manage financial performance using reporting packages and dashboards.
• Support preparation of EACs and EVM reporting.
• Assist bidding and proposal activities, including pricing exercises and business case development.
• Track and forecast material costs with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams.
• Maintain strong financial controls and documentation across the portfolio.
• Assist Accounting, Contracts, and Subcontracts with FAR, DFARS, and CAS regulations for proposals and negotiations.
• Act as the external audit interface for selected programs.

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Business Finance organization. This position will report directly to the Land Systems Controller and provide financial support for assigned contracts, as well as assist with reporting and analysis. This position will be located onsite in Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor progress toward financial commitments and provide timely financial insights to support program and executive leadership.
• Lead quarterly forecasting cycles for the portfolio and support annual budgeting and long-range planning initiatives.
• Partner with Program Managers to manage program financial performance by providing reporting packages and dashboards that drive timely variance analysis and help identify key drivers, risks, and trends.
• Support preparation of program Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
• Support bidding and proposal activities, including pricing exercises and business case development.
• Assist the Manufacturing and Supply Chain organizations in tracking and forecasting material costs.
• Maintain strong financial controls and documentation across the portfolio.
• Assist Accounting, Contracts, and Subcontracts teams in complying with applicable FAR, DFARS, and CAS regulations for all proposal submissions and negotiations.
• Act as the external audit interface for programs selected for review.

Compensation Range: $132,000 - $171,600

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 16+ years of progressive experience (with a significant portion directly related to Financial Management), or a Master's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Proficient with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts, systems, and reporting.
• Proficient with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other general accounting rules and principles.
• Strong focus on analyzing and understanding financial data.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
• Ability to travel 5-10% annually, primarily internationally and possibly domestically.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• U.S. Government Contracting experience preferred, including familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and CAS rules and regulations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
