Job summary

Wonder, encompassing Spyce, Wonder Create and Wonder AI, is seeking a Sr. Manager, Strategic Finance in the Boston area to anchor foundational finance operations and partner with leadership. You will drive FP&A, cost accounting, and CapEx planning with data-driven insights.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing finance, a CPA/CMA preferred, and strong ERP experience (NetSuite or SAP). The position is hybrid, with in-office collaboration three days a week, and a competitive

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with a focus on manufacturing and cost accounting.
• CPA or CMA designation highly preferred.
• Based in the Boston, MA area with ability to work with local teams.
• Deep understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Experience navigating ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP) and data-driven storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Partnering & FP&A: provide data-backed financial modeling for leadership.
• Forecasting & Budgeting: lead Annual Plan and rolling forecasts for Spyce, Wonder Create and AI.
• Month-End Close & Reporting: manage close and present actionable narratives to leaders.
• CapEx Planning: evaluate ROI for major investments in manufacturing tech and R&D.
• Cost Accounting & Margin Analysis: establish BOM costing, labor, overhead allocations.
• System & Process Integration: design chart of accounts and SOPs for inventory and processes.
