Job summary

Career Group Search is seeking a Director of Finance to sit at the CFO’s right hand and act as the financial engine behind strategic decisions for a fast-growing consumer brand. Onsite five days a week in West LA, this role shapes planning and reporting at the top level.

You will own planning cycles, partner with executives, build robust financial models, drive KPI dashboards, and lead a high-performing FP&A team to scale the business with disciplined financial oversight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FP&A or corporate finance with leadership.
• Experience in consumer brand, retail, or CPG.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the full annual budgeting and rolling forecast.
• Partner with the CFO on financial storytelling and capital decisions.
• Deliver monthly reporting packages and variance analyses.
• Develop sophisticated financial models including scenario analyses.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with commercial, marketing, supply chain, and operations.
• Drive KPI development and performance tracking.
• Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team.
• Champion process and systems innovation to scale the business.
