Job summary

Biograph, based in New York City, is seeking a dynamic Director of Finance to shape financial strategy and drive operational success as the company scales. You will oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while partnering with leadership on capital allocation and growth initiatives.

The role is hybrid, based in NYC with 3-5 days in our Manhattan office. You bring 7-10 years in senior finance, strong leadership, and startup/high-growth experience, plus a track record in fundraising

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in a senior finance role with operational finance experience.
• Expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, revenue forecasting, and cost negotiations.
• Proven fundraising, capital management, and investor relations experience.
• Prior success in startup or high-growth environments.
• Strong planning, forecasting, and budgeting capabilities.
• Experience in healthcare or technology industries a plus.
• Familiarity with subscription or membership-based models a bonus.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Preferred background as a financial analyst.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the finance department including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy, capital allocation and growth.
• Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decisions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage financial risks.
• Lead fundraising efforts and manage investor relations.
• Implement financial systems and processes to support scale.
• Create rigorous controls for finance and accounting and audit readiness.
• Monitor KPIs and drive profitability.
• Provide insights to support operations and strategic goals.
• Coordinate monthly performance reviews and the close process with accounting.
