Job summary

Cocopah Casino in the United States is seeking a seasoned Finance Director to provide strategic financial leadership, oversee governmental accounting, budgeting, and grant management, and ensure compliance with GAAP and GASB standards. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
CPA and/or CGFM certification preferred.
Minimum seven years in governmental accounting, finance, or fiscal management.
Minimum seven years of supervisory or executive-level management experience.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic financial leadership to tribal Council and Administrator.
Direct daily financial operations of tribal government and enterprises.
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial performance for fiscal stability.
Oversee GAAP/GASB accounting and prepare financial statements for leadership and regulators.
Direct budgeting processes, grant/contract management, procurement, and audits.
Lead payroll, procurement controls, and compliance with regulations.
Supervise Finance Department staff and foster collaboration with departments.
