Job summary

ExaCare AI is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead all accounting, FP&A, and reporting functions as we scale rapidly in New York. You will partner with the executive team and Board on strategy, fundraising, and capital allocation, while building scalable financial systems and processes.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and investor communications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in finance.
• Strong FP&A toolkit: budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and partnering with leaders on headcount and investment decisions.
• Solid accounting foundation with mastery of SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606), monthly close, cash management, and audit/tax support.
• Deep familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR, net retention, LTV/CAC, burn multiple, sales efficiency) and using them to drive decisions.
• Proven experience owning board and investor reporting, fundraising support (equity and/or debt), and working directly with executives and directors.
• Track record of building and leading lean, high‑performing finance teams in fast‑paced startup environments.
• Systems and process builder: comfortable selecting and implementing tools (ERP, billing, FP&A/BI) and designing scalable, lightweight processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the executive team and Board on financial strategy, fundraising, capital allocation, and long‑term planning.
• Define and monitor SaaS metrics (MRR/ARR growth, churn, LTV/CAC, net retention, burn multiple, sales efficiency).
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, long‑range planning, and financial modeling to support initiatives.
• Oversee accounting operations: close, revenue recognition, payroll, expense management.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and relationships with banks and lenders.
• Lead audit and due diligence, and support mergers or partnerships when applicable.
