Job summary

Exacare ai in New York is seeking a VP of Finance to lead all accounting, FP&A, and strategic financial planning as the company scales rapidly. You will partner with the executive team and Board on fundraising, capital allocation, and long‑term planning, ensuring robust governance, accurate forecasting, and scalable finance operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in finance.
• Strong FP&A toolkit: budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and partnering with leaders on headcount and investment decisions.
• Solid accounting foundation with mastery of SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606), monthly close, cash management, and audit/tax support.
• Deep familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR, net retention, LTV/CAC, burn multiple) and using them to drive decisions.
• Proven experience owning board and investor reporting, fundraising support, and working with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial leadership with executive and Board alignment on strategy, fundraising, and capital allocation.
• Oversee FP&A, budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Oversee accounting operations, ASC 606, payroll, and regulatory compliance while ensuring audit readiness.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial systems to enable scalable growth.
• Lead fundraising efforts and investor relations, including data room preparations and due diligence.
