Job summary

Elve Speed Inc. is seeking a strategic, hands-on VP/SVP of Finance to build and lead our financial operations as we scale from early growth toward future funding rounds.

You will partner with the CEO to balance high-level planning with daily execution to optimize financial operations, governance, and sustainable growth. You will drive rolling forecasts, unit economics analysis, and ROI-focused budgeting while implementing a scalable tech stack (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Rippling, Carta, Mosaic) to

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with 3+ years in a high-growth tech startup.
• Direct fundraising experience preparing for institutional VC rounds.
• Background in investment banking, venture capital, corporate FP&A, or public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale financial operations from early growth to future funding.
• Develop rolling forecasts and scenario models for revenue, expenses, EBITDA and cash flow.
• Oversee GAAP-compliant accounting, month-end close, reporting and tax compliance.
• Strategize capital allocation and budgeting across headcount, CapEx and R&D.
• Support fundraising processes including decks, due diligence, and board reporting.
