Job summary

Ethyca is seeking a Head of Finance to build the financial foundation necessary to scale beyond $100M ARR. This hands-on leadership role owns all core accounting, forecasting, controls, and investor reporting in-house, partnering with the CEO and Ops to drive disciplined, transparent financial operations.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance, shape fundraising materials, and implement scalable systems (QuickBooks, Rippling, Ramp, BILL) with strong governance.

Qualifications

• Experience owning finance end-to-end at an early-stage or growth-stage tech company.
• Led accounting, forecasting, and financial strategy without external providers.
• Fluent in GAAP, accrual accounting, FP&A, monthly close cycles, and SaaS metrics.
• Built or significantly improved financial models used for board-level decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own bookkeeping, payroll accounting, A/P, A/R, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain rolling 12-month forecasts with disciplined FP&A cadence.
• Deliver quarterly investor updates, board reporting packages, and KPI dashboards.
• Establish internal controls, policies, and audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations for financial alignment.
