Job summary

Western Digital Corp. is seeking a Senior Strategy leader in San Jose, CA. You will define the sales and commercial strategy for the HDD core business, and drive cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal.

You will translate long-term priorities into actionable recommendations for the Executive Leadership Team and present to the C-suite and Board with rigorous analysis and strategic conviction.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent experience required.
• 8–10+ years in top-tier management consulting or in-house strategy and GTM roles.
• Deep domain experience in data storage, semiconductors, or enterprise/cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define sales and commercial strategy for WD’s core HDD business with leadership input.
• Build and execute strategic projects end-to-end including GTM and business model evaluation.
• Translate priorities into decisions and recommendations for the Executive Leadership Team.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Legal to align strategy with execution.
• Deliver strategic briefs and present to C-suite and Board with clear narrative.
• Partner with GTM leadership to reflect real customer needs and market dynamics.
