Job summary

Hopper is seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager to partner with business leaders, build forecast models, and drive strategic decision making. You will develop robust financial models for new products, partnerships and investments, and support fundraising and capital allocation decisions.

You will own driver-based forecasts, connect operational metrics to P&L, and present clear recommendations to the CFO and senior leadership. Remote-friendly role with strong emphasis on automation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, strategic finance or FP&A.
• Advanced financial modeling skills with three-statement models, DCF and scenario analyses.
• Solid understanding of accounting and how financial statements connect.
• Excellent communication skills to explain concepts to non-finance partners.
• Working knowledge of SQL or ability to learn quickly.
• Hands-on use of AI tools to automate repetitive work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrated financial models, scenarios and business cases.
• Evaluate economics of new commercial agreements and shape deal terms.
• Support fundraising, M&A and capital allocation decisions.
• Own monthly and quarterly forecasts and contribute to annual plans.
• Lead reviews of actuals vs. plan, explain variances and flags risks.
• Partner with leadership on market sizing, prioritization and cost optimization.
• Prepare executive- and investor-ready materials with clear storytelling.
• Use SQL, BigQuery and AI to automate reporting and analysis.
