Job summary

Hopper is seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager to act as a strategic finance partner across the business. You will build rigorous financial models, forecast scenarios and drive executive-level decision making with senior leaders and the CFO.

You will shape deal terms, support fundraising and capital allocation, and automate reporting using SQL, BigQuery and AI tools to focus on insights and strategy.

Qualifications

• Advanced financial modeling skills: three-statement models, DCF, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to explain concepts to non-finance partners.
• Working knowledge of SQL or ability to pick up technical tools quickly.
• Hands-on use of AI tools to automate repetitive work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrated financial models, scenario and sensitivity analyses, and business cases for new products, partnerships and investments.
• Evaluate the economics of new commercial agreements and help shape deal terms with business leaders.
• Support fundraising, M&A and capital allocation decisions, including the models and analysis behind them.
• Own the monthly and quarterly forecast and contribute to annual budget and long-range plan.
• Lead monthly and quarterly reviews of actuals vs. plan and forecast, explain variances, and flag risks and opportunities.
