St. Cloud Area Family YMCA is seeking a Director of Finance to provide strategic leadership and oversight of finance, IT, and business operations.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and the management of financial resources to advance the YMCA's mission. Responsibilities include leading budgeting and financial planning, ensuring GAAP compliance, and delivering timely financial insight to the Executive Director, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience
• 5+ years in accounting/financial management with budgeting
• Strategic financial partner to executives with actionable insights
• Proven leadership in coaching staff and building financial literacy
• Advanced Excel and accounting system proficiency; Paylocity/Daxko desirable
• Nonprofit financial management knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Translate goals into financial and operational plans with KPIs
• Oversee accounting operations, month-end and year-end closings
• Lead annual budgeting process and variance analysis
• Prepare financial statements, audits, and 990 filings
• Conduct financial forecasting, cash flow, and capital planning
• Develop internal controls and risk management practices
• Manage banking, investments, and relationships with advisors
• Oversee payroll, IT, and admin operations
• Lead and develop finance and admin staff
• Collaborate with leadership and board committees on financial strategy
