Job summary

YouthCare seeks a Director of Finance Operations to lead all financial operations and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across budgeting, reporting, audits, and payroll. You will guide executive leadership, coordinate with the Board Finance Committee, and optimize financial processes to support strategic priorities.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will oversee external audits, Form 990, cash flow projections, and internal controls while partnering with HR on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting, or finance with 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Nonprofit accounting and grant-funded management experience with revenue over $5,000,000.
• Experience with federal, state, local grant compliance and A-133 audits; GAAP knowledge.
• Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual budget development and ongoing budget management.
• Coordinate audits, prepare Form 990 and ensure internal controls.
• Manage payroll oversight and outsourced functions.
• Provide financial reporting to leaders and board committees.
• Oversee grants, revenue, accounts receivable, and endowment funds.
