Job summary

PCYC is seeking a Director of Finance and Operations to steer financial strategy, budgeting, and operations for the agency including HR, facilities, and IT. The role oversees accounting, reporting, and internal controls to support North Minneapolis programs and partnerships with MACC and St. Mary’s University.

The position requires leadership, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate across departments to ensure sustainability and mission impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or nonprofit management.
• Five years of experience in a nonprofit, foundation, or government context.
• Five years of management experience in an administrative or operations capacity.
• Experience with nonprofit grants, restricted funds, contract reimbursement, and multiple program budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCYC's annual budgeting process with the Executive Director and program leaders.
• Maintain rolling cash flow forecasts and long-range financial projections.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and budget-to-actual results to identify issues and corrective actions.
• Develop financial scenarios to support staffing, facilities, programming, and resource allocation.
• Provide financial analyses and forecasts to leadership and the board.
