Job summary

Safran in North America, Washington (Redmond) seeks a Director of Finance to lead financial close, reporting, and strategic analysis for the IDD site. You will partner with the General Manager, drive long-term value, and guide cross-functional teams across budgeting, forecasting, and policy adherence.

The role requires MBA/CPA or equivalent, 5–10+ years in finance, and experience in aerospace/defense with multinational leadership. Travel and leadership of a 3-person finance team are expected.

Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, or equivalent required.
• 5–10+ years of experience in finance.
• Aerospace/defense or advanced manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience leading in multinational/matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial close process complying with US GAAP/IFRS.
• Ensure timely, accurate group financial reporting.
• Coordinate with SED consolidation for reporting and regulatory updates.
• Provide financial insights via dashboards to support decisions.
• Advise leadership on financial impacts for business plans and bids.
• Oversee treasury and internal control activities; manage a local team of 3.
