Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks a Finance Manager to oversee financial integrity and performance for the Advanced Weapons organization within Land Systems.

Located on-site in Auburn Hills, MI, or Syracuse, NY, the role leads 3–5 direct reports and partners with program managers to drive variance analysis, cost control, and strategic forecasting. The position requires 16+ years in finance or 14+ with an advanced degree, strong Excel and analytics capabilities, and the ability to navigate government contracting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 16+ years of progressive experience, or a Master’s with 14+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading a finance/accounting or multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial oversight and end-to-end financial management for Advanced Weapons within Land Systems.
• Lead budgeting, five-year plan, forecasts, and performance metrics while managing profitability, cash flow, and risk.
• Partner with Program Managers to analyze variances, drivers, and trends with reporting packages and dashboards.
• Support EACs, EVM reporting, bidding, and pricing activities; assist with material cost forecasting.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS/CAS.
