Schneider Electric Federal is seeking a strategic Director of Finance to lead the financial management of its U.S. Federal Government business.

Reporting to the President, you will drive governance, performance and compliance while partnering with leadership to support growth and long-term success. This role oversees accounting, FP&A, treasury, contract management and project controls, with a focus on risk, controls, and external audits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance for government contracting environments.
• Strong governance, internal controls, and audit coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end financial oversight across accounting, FP&A, treasury and governance.
• Ensure integrity of financial reporting and compliance with policies.
• Lead relationships with auditors and address audit findings.
• Partner with the President on growth, profitability and operational excellence.
• Deliver insights to improve decision-making and performance.
• Own long-range planning, annual plan, forecasts and scenario modeling.
• Drive forecasting accuracy and resource allocation; evaluate strategic investments.
• Lead finance governance with the Board and Finance Committee; strengthen project controls.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.
