Job summary

Integral Federal, Inc. in McLean, VA seeks a Director of Finance to lead the finance function, oversee FP&A, pricing, and government contract compliance, and advise the Board.

This hands-on executive role requires 10+ years in government contracting finance, strong FAR/CAS expertise, and the ability to drive cost efficiencies, reporting, and AI-enabled automation while safeguarding sensitive data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience at a government contracting organization, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Expert knowledge of the FAR (including Part 31 and 15.408), CAS, and DCAA audit requirements, with hands-on experience developing indirect rates, provisional billing rates, and incurred cost submissions.
• Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for executives and a Board of Directors.
• Government contract pricing experience, including fully burdened labor rate buildups and cost volumes for competitive proposals.
• Experience with GSA Schedule compliance, including TDR, SRP, and IFF reporting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience building complex financial, pricing, and operational models.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to advise executives and present to the Board.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function and strategic planning for growth and compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis for executives and the Board.
• Develop indirect rates, provisional billing rates, and incurred cost submissions under FAR Part 31/CAS.
• Own pricing models and fully burdened labor rate build-ups for government contracts.
• Ensure GSA Schedule compliance, including TDR, SRP, and IFF reporting.
• Oversee contract financials, EAC, funding status, and program control.
• Manage month-end close, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and financial reporting.
• Liaise with DCAA, DCMA, GSA on audits; lead responses and corrections.
• Lead and develop the finance team; establish policies and internal controls.
• Drive systems and data automation; Costpoint, Excel, Power BI, and AI tools while protecting CUI/PII.
