Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling seeks an accomplished Controller/finance leader to bridge financial performance with day-to-day operations across Florida locations. You will partner with operations, develop forecasts, strengthen controls, and lead finance professionals to drive actionable business insights.

Ideal candidates bring strong accounting and financial reporting expertise, experience with ERP systems, and a collaborative leadership style. CPA or MBA and bilingual English/Spanish are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical experience.
• Experience leading and developing accounting or finance professionals.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and financial reporting.
• Experience partnering with senior business and operational leaders.
• Experience working within multi-location or operationally complex organizations.
• Exposure to waste, recycling, transportation, logistics, environmental services, construction or related operations is a plus.
• CPA, MBA and bilingual English/Spanish are valued.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to analyze performance, develop forecasts, and improve financial processes.
• Lead and develop finance professionals, strengthening controls and reporting across locations.
• Translate financial data into clear business insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with executives to drive cost optimization and better business decisions.
• Support relocation and growth efforts by aligning finance with operations across Florida.
