Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking an accomplished Controller to connect financial performance with daily operations across Florida. You will partner with leaders, analyze performance, and strengthen forecasting and controls while guiding a finance team.

We value CPA, MBA and bilingual English/Spanish capabilities, along with experience in multi-location environments. Relocation assistance may be available as the company grows with the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical experience.
• Experience leading and developing accounting or finance professionals.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
• Strong operational and business acumen.
• Experience partnering with senior business and operational leaders.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/financial systems experience.
• Collaborative leadership style and accountability.
• Experience in multi-location or complex operations; waste/transport/logistics a plus.
• CPA, MBA and bilingual English/Spanish capabilities valued.
