Job summary

Ferrara/KME, a Terex Corporation affiliate, is seeking a Controller who reports to the VP of Finance. The role partners with the VP/GM to provide value-added financial analysis to drive revenue, cash flow, and profitability in a manufacturing environment.

You will own the accounting and finance function, implement policies, supervise the accounting staff, and coordinate audits, SOX compliance, and year-end activities.

Qualifications

• Broad background in accounting, finance, planning and analysis, SOX compliance, and IT systems.
• Ability to present information to top management and supervise staff.
• Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial materials and respond to inquiries.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and internal/external reporting packages, ensure SOX compliance and audits.
• Create monthly rolling forecasts for P&L and cash across functions; explain variances.
• Maintain integrity of plant reporting systems (receipts, shipping, inventories, labor, material).
• Coordinate cost standards and budgets to measure product cost and performance.
• Oversee monthly closing process and year-end audits; manage accounting staff.
• Monitor inventory counts and balance sheet accuracy; ensure timely reporting.
