Job summary

Fairchild Imaging, Inc. in San Jose, CA, seeks an experienced Controller to lead the accounting and finance operations of its U.S. subsidiary.

Reporting to the CFO, this role ensures GAAP-compliant financial reporting, strong internal controls, and timely financial analysis for strategic decisions. The successful candidate will partner with executive leadership, manage day-to-day accounting, and potentially assume broader financial leadership responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in accounting/finance roles.
• 5+ years in leadership of accounting/finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GL, A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets, inventory, and close processes.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements per U.S. GAAP.
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Partner with CFO on budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
• Provide financial guidance to Operations, Engineering, Sales, and PM.
• Mentor staff and develop accounting policies.
