Job summary

Fairchild Imaging, a San Jose-based image sensor leader, seeks an experienced Controller to drive accounting and finance for the U.S. subsidiary. You will report to the CFO and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, strong internal controls, and strategic financial analysis.

The role demands leadership and the potential to grow into broader financial leadership. Hybrid onsite/remote schedule complements a collaborative executive team and ongoing growth in advanced imaging markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience.
• Five or more years of leadership experience managing accounting/finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of U.S. corporate tax concepts sufficient to coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Experience preparing financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting packages.
• Experience developing financial models and ROI analyses.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial governance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and month-end/year-end close.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Ensure timely completion of all financial reporting to executive management and the parent company.
• Maintain the integrity of the Company's financial records and accounting systems.
• Partner with the CFO to prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Analyze operating results, identify trends, and communicate business insights to senior management.
