Job summary

Ultimate Jet Vacations is seeking a seasoned Controller in Miami to partner with executives, oversee accounting operations, and strengthen financial controls. You will drive timely reporting, improve processes, and guide the accounting team to deliver insightful data for strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes process improvements, multi-entity consolidation, audits, and leveraging AI tools to optimize finance operations. Fluent English required; CPA preferred for this leadership position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA preferred.
5-7 years progressive accounting or controllership experience.
Experience managing full-cycle accounting in a multi-entity environment.
Strong experience with TRAMS or similar ERP; GAAP/IFRS knowledge.
Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
Experience leading external audits and liaising with regulators.
Experience driving automation and AI in finance operations.
Hospitality, travel, or service industry exposure is a plus.
Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, cost accounting, and treasury.
Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closes and improve efficiency.
Prepare internal and external GAAP financial statements.
Develop and improve accounting policies and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Coordinate audits and act as primary contact for auditors and regulators.
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Drive expense optimization and support cash flow forecasting.
Provide leadership with financial insights for profitable decisions.
