Job summary

UJV, a luxury travel finance partner, seeks a Controller to own accounting operations, strengthen controls, and deliver timely financial reporting. You will lead process improvements, guide the accounting team, and enable data-driven decisions through reliable financial insights.

In this role, you will drive month-end close, manage audits, optimize expenses, and collaborate with executives to scale the business while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5-7 years in progressive accounting or controllership roles.
• Experience in full-cycle accounting in multi-entity environments.
• Proficient with TRAMS; strong Excel modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS; external audits experience.
• Experience leveraging AI/automation in finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, cost accounting, and treasury.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closes with process improvements.
• Prepare internal and external GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Develop policies and internal controls; ensure tax compliance.
• Coordinate audits and interact with auditors and regulators.
• Provide strategic financial insights for profitable decision-making.
• Drive cost optimization and cash flow forecasting; support hedging strategies.
• Mentor accounting team; partner with leadership on financial guidance.
